Well it was another great event. I was wondering whether it would be sufficiently different to live up to a new name.
It was and did!
Fast Web Formula was significantly different to previous Underground Profit Systems.
There was a greater emphasis on building a business rather than doing all the techie stuff. So it retained it’s overview, big picture but included new business model, strategy, licensing, outsourcing and content info. The modelling and outsourcing strategy is something every business owner really needs to hear.
Back to that “what are you spending your time on” and “what of that is making you money”! Leverage! So I have decided to become a leverage lush after FWF and outsource, outsource, outsource, leverage, leverage, leverage!
It involved guest speakers who often were not presenting so much as having a relaxed discussion on the couch with James – Oprah style! OMG is James Schramko the new online business, internet marketing Oprah Winfrey? God help us if Oprah goes into internet marketing or we’ll all be out of a job!
What was it they called it – reflected glory? Reflected brilliance? Basking in the light of those around you, leveraging their successful status for yourself. That is why I have the photo for this post. Peter Parks – Affiliate Punisher – wanted to have one so he could say he knew me and he knew me back in 2010!!! he was a great sport photo wise as was Buzz Marketer Dean Hunt (check them out on facebook)!
So all in all the washup has been hard for me. It is leading to changes on this site and others. It is leading to frantic change for the better, new ideas, and also pushing me personally through blocks about valuing what I do, what I know and charging for it! Anyone in business not know how that feels?!
My suggestion now is get in early for the next Fast Web Formula – September 10, 11 and 12 it will be massive!
